In December 1983, Poly Technology Co., Ltd., the predecessor of China Poly Group Corporation registered in the State Industry and Commerce Bureau, and began business activities in January 1984.
In February 1993, China Poly Group Corporation registered in the National Industrial and Commercial Bureau, with a registered capital 1.5 billion Yuan.
In March 1993, China Poly Group Corporation was granted authorization rights of foreign affairs by the Central Foreign Affairs Leading Group Office, and the Foreign Affairs Office of the State Council.
In November 1993, approved by the then State Planning Commission, China Poly Group Corporation became one of the enterprise groups with business planning directly supervised by the central government.
In 1994, the trading business of China Poly Group Corporation ranked No. 26 by the "China's Top 500 service enterprises evaluation".
In 2004, the annual business performance of China Poly Group Corporation was evaluated as B-class by SASAC.
In 2004, China Poly Group Corporation was awarded the "Hot love star enterprise" title by China Disabled People's Welfare Foundation.
In 2005, SASAC confirmed the pillar industries of the China Poly Group Corporation as international trade of defense and civilian commodities, real estate development and operation, property management, intermediary services, and arts and culture business, while the main industry are defined as "the major industries and key areas involving national security and national economy lifeline"
In 2006, China Poly Group Corporation was confirmed by SASAC as one of the five central enterprises granted rights of merging and reorganizing real estate business of the other central enterprises by SASAC.
In 2007, China Poly Group Corporation achieved EVA more than 1 billion Yuan, listed 44 of all the central enterprises and 38 among 116 of which achieved better EVA than last years’.
